VIDEO REVIEWS
"These are excellent conditioning tapes for all levels of players. The
drills are sport-specific and fun so that players will be motivated to
participate. Rose has done a nice job of organizing the different drills and exercises. The focus on functional strength is often overlooked, but covered very well here. I definitely recommend these tapes."

"Rose has put together a comprehensive set of drills and progressions
of footwork patterns that will help the tennis player seeking improvement
in the area of on-court speed. I highly recommend these videos as
a way of getting started and moving into higher levels of tennis
training."

"Rose Bonomo’s highly dynamic videos will help any tennis
player improve their game. She covers many important aspects of
movement that most videos do not cover. I highly Recommend it!"

"You always want someone to do video just for you - your sport - but sometimes our answers are right infront of you. Rose Bonomo has put together a great video. Yes, for tennis - but if you open your mind and release your creativity, you can use many of her drills for alpine and x-c skiing as well as snowboarding. We all have our athletes doing power cleans and squats - so where is the patten on footwork, speed and agility drills. We can train all our athletes basically the same; at the very least using variations of similar drills/exercises.
You are only limited by your imagination.
Your athlete may at first ask what does this have to do with skiing?
Well, after a few trips thru the ladder drill or over hurdles they soon
catch on and see that all this "dryland" training we do helps shorten the transition from "dryland" to on-snow. It is an incredible feeling making the perfect GS turn...and that is exactly how I feel when I watch my athletes perform the drills to perfection...I find myself coaching as if I was on-snow - feel the snow, use finesse, be supple, touch, quick feet. I have been coaching 21 years now and my experience tells me you can never force something on your athletes. They have to buy into it and find out for themselves why we do the things we ask them to do. Once they realize (feel or experience) what we have been telling them is the truth and it all clicks, you have yourself a believer. I highly recommend watching and adopting Rose's drills for any sport...any athlete...have FUN.

"Not only will these drills enhance your player's court skills,
but your credibility with your players as well. The drills are creative
and challenging, and are progressed in a sensible manner. This video
reinforces the value of functionally relevant training activities
for tennis players. It will inspire you to continue to create fun
and challenging drills for your players."

"Speed, Agility and Footwork for Tennis and Functional Strength
Training for Tennis are both excellent sources of information for
anyone training tennis athletes. The logical progression and easy
to follow drill descriptions make these tapes user friendly for
tennis coaches not trained in conditioning athletes but are also
innovative and creative enough to give the experienced coach great
new ideas to implement into their existing programs. If you are
looking to improve performance through well planned workouts, these
tapes are for you."
